Lack of fatherhood blogs

In doing my searches for like minded fathers and fathers to be, I found plenty of blogs, but not many of them are kept up. That is a bit disheartening. I'm pretty confidant I will keep this up, but I'm sure the others were also writing with the purpose of continued writing.

We shall see now, won't we? I also have not yet told my wife. I hope she approves, as this is for her and the child. Doing things for her always causes me a certain amount of anxiety as I like to make her happy. But I digress, as this isn't about her so much.

Well, it is a little about her as I discuss her pregnancy and whatnot. She is starting to show a bit and it's becoming uncomfortable for her. We ordered a maternity pillow for her. Hopefully that helps. If it doesn't, I'm sure you'll hear about it from me.

The relative lack of blogs by dads (or dads-to-be) was also a motivating factor for my blog.

I'd be optimistic that your wife would be supportive of this endeavor. I think of blogging as an online journal that I'll eventually be able to share with my children. It's a great way to capture exactly what you are thinking and feeling as things unfold.

Keep it up! Cheers, Busy-Dad-E

I just started a blog on fatherhood... particularly raising daughters. I'm a young dad (25) and am hoping that we can all learn and grow together.

Would love your input.

I agree with what you said, Its hard to come by blogs on Fatherhood, I myself have been married for almost 4 years and I have a 5 month old baby Girl. She's my world, and I LOVE to share all the crazy experiences we have together with the world. Its nice to know there are other blogs out there. My blog is on my life and the things I encounter, Fatherhood is one of my favorite topics.

Not that many from where I come from too. Nice to know that there are so many like-minded dads out here!
The wife has been complaining a bit though, that now there's something else that eats into our precious family time..haha
